Some bubble players who make for good options in shallow leagues include Treylon Burks (@ Chargers in Week 15) and Jakobi Meyers (@ Raiders), if they clear concussion protocol, Donovan Peoples-Jones (vs. Ravens), Christian Watson and Allen Lazard (vs. Rams), George Pickens and Diontae Johnson (@ Panthers), Michael Gallup (@ Jaguars), Gabriel Davis (vs. Dolphins), and Drake London (@ Saints) profile as startable WR3/flexes in favorable matchups. All could potentially rack up 60-plus receiving yards on a good number of receptions and reach paydirt in the process. Pickens and London are dealing with some changes with their respective signal callers, as Michell Trubisky is in line to start for the first time since Week 4, and Desmond Ridder makes his first career start.
If you’re searching for streamers, Elijah Moore (vs. Lions), Jarvis Landry and Rashid Shaheed (vs. Falcons), Parris Campbell and Alec Pierce (@ Vikings), Isaiah McKenzie (vs. Dolphins), Nico Collins and/or Chris Moore (vs. Chiefs), Richie James Jr. and Isaiah Hodgins (@ Commanders), Romeo Doubs (vs. Rams), Terrace Marshall (vs. Steelers), and DeAndre Carter (vs. Titans) could be some WRs you choose to use your waiver claims on. With the possible exception of Campbell and whoever operates as the Texans’ top option, none of these WRs have particularly high floors in PPR leagues, but they all have higher floors than usual and high ceilings thanks to highly favorable matchups.
WEEK 15 STANDARD RANKINGS:QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers
We’ll have to watch for injury updates on Doubs (ankle) and Collins (calf), as both missed their teams’ last game. Joining them on the sidelines to start last week were Burks (concussion), Meyers (concussion), Rondale Moore (groin), Cortland Sutton (hamstring), Brandin Cooks (calf), and Kadarius Toney (hamstring). It was also tough to see Deebo Samuel (ankle), Tyler Boyd (finger), and Tee Higgins (hamstring) go down in Week 15. Throw in Cooper Kupp (foot) and Mecole Hardman (abdomen), who are both eligible to come off the IR this week, and fantasy owners will have to be monitoring the practice reports closely.
WEEK 15 PPR RANKINGS:QBs | RBs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers
With every team in action, that means every potentially tough matchup is on the table. Marquise Brown and Rondale Moore (@ Broncos), Adam Thielen (vs. Colts), and Zay Jones (vs. Cowboys) are guys to be careful with in shallower leagues, while DJ Chark (@ Jets), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (@ Texans), Chase Claypool (vs. Eagles), and Van Jefferson (@ Packers) are riskier than usual in deeper leagues.
WEEK 15 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel
Despite getting gashed by Kansas City, Denver’s defense is capable of keeping Arizona’s offense in check, resulting in subpar showings from Brown and Moore. Thielen faces a Colts offense that entered Week 14 allowing the second-fewest fantasy points per game to WRs (21.4) while Claypool, Jefferson, Jones, Valdes-Scantling, and Chark might post lower-than-expected fantasy showings if they’re unable to score a touchdown. Jones and Brown have higher floors in PPR leagues, but the rest are middling options.
WEEK 15 DFS: Best values | Best stacks
If you think you need to go for broke in order to win your playoff matchup, then by all means take some chances. Generally, TD-or-bust types are frowned upon in PPR leagues, but it’s all about surviving and advancing, so if you think playing the matchup with your WR3 or flex makes more sense than using a guy who sees more consistent targets, knock yourself out.
