While that might sound a little complicated, Far Cry 6’s gameplay is fairly straightforward, as is this achievement when players know the best method. In fact, this achievement is one of the first ones that players can earn in the game, which makes it all the sweeter as an early reward. Of course, it’s something not everyone will think to do, as it requires sizing taking down a machine from a beast.

Finding a Horse

First things first, players are going to need a horse to ride. Luckily, Far Cry 6’s horses are a common sight, either being ridden by enemies, allies, or any of the other NPCs that dot the island of Yara. However, the easiest method is to just spawn one from a kiosk, as strange as that might sound. Horses have their own sort of ride spawn menus that allow the player to customize them. They can be found around the world, or at certain camps, and there are some interesting options to choose from. Montero Farm has one for those looking for an easy one.

Performing the Assassination

The actual nuts and bolts of this particular Far Cry 6 trophy aren’t that complicated. To complete it, simply mount the horse and ride alongside an enemy vehicle. Large supply trucks tend to be slow, so they’re the best option for players just trying to earn the achievement as quickly as possible. The AI can be a little wonky and will occasionally try to drive off the side of the road, so watch out for that. Once everything is lined up, simply hit the melee key and Dani will leap from the horse and into the enemy vehicle, quickly killing the driver. The achievement will then pop.

There are plenty of other challenges for players to complete, from treasure hunts to Far Cry 6’s cockfighting minigame. With an island as massive as Yara, players will probably spend a decent bit of time crossing those challenges off of the list, too. Just make sure not to ignore the dictator ruling the island for too long.
