Two such videos had been released earlier, and both make good use of Esposito’s acting prowess. He is shown as an intimidating leader in one, while other focuses on him arrogantly dismantling a rebel flamethrower from Far Cry 6. Ubisoft has now released a third video in which Esposito is answering fan mail in the same condescending but hilarious tone.

Esposito does his best to undermine all of the questions that are being asked in this over 2-minute-long trailer. The first fan mail asks if Diego, Castillo’s son, is actually Vaas from Far Cry 3. Esposito replies by saying that Diego is being raised to be the future El Presidente of Yara, and comparing him to a petty criminal is completely absurd. He also says that Vaas looks like someone from of a failed boy band. Later in the video, a question is centered around the famous shot of Diego holding a grenade from the original announcement trailer of Far Cry 6.

The final mail goes into the details of a popular fan theory, which states that Diego is actually the child of Dani Rojas, the protagonist of the game, and Anton had Diego’s biological mother killed. Esposito is naturally flabbergasted and says that Dani is too young to have a child of Diego’s age. He states that even the idea of Diego not being Anton’s son is disgusting to him.

There are quite a few questions in the video and Esposito’s reaction to them is often pretty funny. Through these trailers, Ubisoft has done a great job at selling the character of Anton Castillo to the audience. Naturally, it might be completely different from his actual personality and mannerisms in Far Cry 6. The series has had quite a few captivating antagonists, and it will be interesting to see how Anton Castillo compares to them when the full game launches.

For those who do not end up connecting with Castillo, Ubisoft had earlier confirmed that the season pass of Far Cry 6 will let fans play as Vaas, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed as a part of the Become the Villain DLC. The season pass will also include the popular spin-off Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon as a bonus.

Far Cry 6 launches October 7 for Luna, PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
